The guarantee
AI that shows its work — or shows nothing.
Optional AI summaries only ever see derived facts our deterministic engine already computed. Before anything reaches you, every figure in the AI's response is checked against your exact numbers. If even one can't be verified, the response is blocked and replaced with the plain, verified facts.
That rule is enforced by code and covered by an adversarial test suite — it is not a marketing sentence.

Private by default
Uploaded files live in private storage, reachable only through short-lived links tied to your account. Sensitive values never appear in our logs.
No bank connections
This release never touches your bank account or reads your email. You upload a file; that is the entire data relationship.
Computed, not estimated
Every dollar figure is calculated from your statement with exact math. Nothing is projected, rounded up for drama, or invented.
AI that cannot make numbers up
AI summaries are optional and off by default. When on, every figure the AI writes is checked against your own statement math — and your statements are never used to train AI models.
Explicit consent, per capability
Each data capability asks for its own permission — nothing is bundled, and withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.
You stay in control
Delete uploaded files whenever you want. Dismissed charges stay dismissed, and your corrections always outrank our automation.

Do I have to connect my bank?+
No — and you can’t. LowScout is upload-first by design: you export a statement (PDF or CSV) from your bank and choose exactly what to share.
Will LowScout cancel subscriptions for me?+
No — and we won’t pretend otherwise. LowScout guides you: reviewed step-by-step instructions, direct cancellation links where we’ve verified them, and ready-to-send scripts. You perform the cancellation yourself, and LowScout confirms it only when your later statements show the charge actually stopped.
How do I know the numbers are right?+
Every total and every finding links back to the transactions that produced it — you can check our math against your own statement, line by line.
What does the AI see?+
Only derived facts our engine already computed (merchant names, amounts, billing cadence) — never your uploaded documents or raw statement text, and only if you explicitly turn AI summaries on.
Is this a budgeting app?+
